The Baila Baila Program was established in 2010 as a music-based initiative designed to help families introduce children (ages 0-3) to the Spanish language through engaging and interactive learning experiences by Isabel Brazon. Isabel developed the program after much needed resources to support her family's bilingual goals. As an immigrant from Venezuela, where she studied Social Communication, it was imperative to her to support bilingual education through creative techniques. Her passion for music and vast experience working in children entertainment motivated her to create a fun educational program to introduce children to Spanish.
From 2014 to 2018, Baila Baila operated its own location on Lincoln Blvd in Santa Monica, providing a variety of Spanish classes for the community, including music, yoga, storytime, and the renowned toddler-oriented preschool program. In 2017, Baila Baila expanded by opening a second location in Lomita, CA. This location offers the same core programs in a uniquely designed space featuring three different environments for families to explore music and movement classes, library time, and arts and crafts.
